King Jacks Shoot

This weekend (26-27 February 2011), I was assisting my friend Alina, IMI student who did DPS last year. She was making a stop motion film for singer King Jacks who's having a video made for every one of his tracks which he will be soon releasing.

It was a 4 day shoot and I came to help on the last 2 as i was on placement on during the weekdays.

Day Saturday: Assisting Director with positioning and mouth syncing of artist in 20 different backgrounds/locations.

Day Sunday: Helping set up a circle shot scene (diagram under) and set up other scenes including bed scene and dining scene.

Beakus

14th February I started a new placement at Beakus: Mixed media animation company based in Wapping.

Working with Director; Leo Bridle on a 1month project for the Science Museum about inventor James Watts.

Check out Leo's amazing graduation film 'Train Of Thought'. If I could achieve something this great in my final year. I'll be insanely happy.

Since the beginning for the year I have been working on choreography for a dance piece for Kings College London annual show. This involves auditioning and teaching students at KCL. I am not experienced at teaching, so this will be a great learning experience. The show will be on 16th,17th &18th March at the Greenwood Theatre. This has given me an idea to turn this into a short film project.
