Work Comms Website

During my time at Pink Squid i have made story boards for Work Comms' 'Think Tank' which appears on their main page of their new website. The story boards demonstrates how the user interact with the 'Think Tank' and the movement the objects make when interacted with.

The interactive/moving design of the objects has developed during the production stage.

Animation at the Country Music Awards!

Wednesday 10th Novemeber

At the Country Music Awards, Keith Urban performed live in front of 1000's of people with the animation i help work on at TRUNK in the background.

Animation at TRUNK

First set of animation i did were roses growing out of the forest:





Secondly set of animals moving to the beat. They wanted the animals to be a bit weird and to have big movements as they will be small in the video. I have also animated a blue frog with neon tongue.




Lastly I was asked to animate some simple clouds and a plane with moving propellers

Here are some of the work i did at TRUNK

Billboards to be put in the background of the animation, used pin up posters inspiration for the billboards. The song is about a girl, and the singer comments on the girl's eyes, smile and hair in the lyrics:





I have cut out a lot of images including flowers/trees/leaves/cars/records and more to be used in the animation. Here i have put together some layers of images for the 'forest'

TRUNK!

Placement 29th October- 7th November
10 straight working days which includes 2 sets of weekends (yes dedication!)

Trunk is an mixed media animation company, since working at Pink Squid i really wanted to experience working in production.

The animation was for an Australian Country Music Singer called Keith Urban. Mostly famous in the United States and Australia, he is also Nicole Kidman's husband.

The animation will be played on a large screen behind Keith Urban when he sings live at the Country Music Awards on the 10th of November.

At TRUNK i started cleaning/cutting out images and collages TRUNK needed for the animation, soon i got to do some animation. It was great fun working at TRUNK.

I was an intern along with two other girls, Yasmeen studied Masters on Animation at Kingston and Jin studies Animation at LCC:




Treated me very well at TRUNK, even made me some Bizar but tasty fishcake baguette.

For the biggest student charity show in the UK, ran by Kings College London students. This year the show will be held on the 21st of November at the IndigO2.

Theatrical design to compliment their theme for this year's show.

Website was shown to potential sponsors, to promote the show and also a section for volunteering performers to keep in touch with important rehearsal and social dates.

Bye Bye Pink Squid and update

Its 5th of November today, i haven't been updating on the spot.

But here's what I have been up to since last time

I finished my intern at Pink Squid on the 23rd September (9 weeks)
was sad to leave as I have adapted to scheduled working life style plus i loved working there. Unfortunately i cannot show work i have been involved in, as they are not yet live til December.
